Nick is a Mechanical Engineer with 20yrs of Renewable Electricity experience. Previously he has been Managing Director of Low Carbon & Orta Solar plus was Head of Energy at Tesco Plc, consuming 1% of the UK total energy. 

Nick manages his own agricultural smallholding as a pastime and has worked closely with farmers adding commercial solar to over 40 land holdings.

Development Manager

Bethan is a project manager with over 20 years of experience working in the renewables industry across the UK. She was the project developer for the first onshore wind farm to be awarded consent under the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Planning regime.

Her experience stretches from the very earliest stages of a development project through planning consent and into the transition to construction.

 

Grid Manager

Chase has almost two decades of experience within the electricity distribution industry, working as a network design engineer across the UK for a number of electricity distribution companies including over a decade within National Grid.

Prior to joining Arise Chase was a network design engineer for 'new connections' and 'network diversions' which covered all areas from domestic sites to high voltage projects including connection of large-scale renewable energy developments.

Head of Land England/Wales

James originates from a farming family in the Yorkshire Dales & has been managing land, farms and estates for the last 15 years. He enjoys helping rural businesses make the most of opportunities and resources available particularly by adding commercial scale renewable electricity production. 

He has enjoyed a 2nd career as a semi-professional Rugby player both in the UK & New Zealand.

Town Planner

Lewis McArthur is an experienced Chartered Town Planner with a decade of planning to draw on, covering solar and BESS developments, alongside rural & urban housing / mixed-use projects. He enjoys the varied challenge of renewable energy developments, diligently crafting proposals that ensure widely considered success.

 

Senior GIS and CAD Designer

Yogi is a Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping specialist with an Engineering background focusing on renewable energy development across the UK and Ireland for the last 10 years. 

He has designed and optimised site layouts using CAD and GIS software for many large-scale renewable developments, including wind, solar and battery storage, considering planning and visual impacts.
