At Arise, we strive for an open and transparent workplace, where misconduct does not occur. Therefore, it is important for us as an employer to offer a simple, confidential, and secure channel for reporting any misconduct.
Who can report?
You can report misconduct in accordance with our Whistleblowing policy if you are an employee, volunteer, intern, or if you work for or represent Arise in any capacity. If you are unsure, we encourage you to read more in our Whistleblowing policy.
What can be reported?
If you suspect possible misconduct or a violation of law or regulation, we urge you to report it to us as a whistleblowing case. You can report information about misconduct that has emerged in a work-related context and that is of public interest.
You can report serious improprieties if it concerns;
- accounting, internal accounting control, auditing, combating bribery, banking and financial crime, or
- other serious irregularities concerning the vital interests of Arise or the life or health of individuals (for example serious environmental crimes, major deficiencies in workplace safety and serious forms of discrimination or harassment).
If you are unsure, we encourage you to read more in our Whistleblowing policy. When reporting, it is important that, at the time of reporting, you had reasonable grounds to believe that the information you provided about the misconduct was true.
How do I report?
Misconduct is reported through our digital whistleblowing channel, which is always available via this link: https://arise.visslan-report.se
Please describe what happened as thoroughly as possible, to ensure that adequate measures can be applied. Attach any relevant documents, images or audio files.
- Do not include sensitive personal information, for example ethnic origin, political opinion, religious or philosophical beliefs, or sexual orientation.
- You can be anonymous throughout the process without affecting your legal protection.
In the case of whistleblowing, there is protection against negative consequences following the reporting of misconduct. This means that threats of retaliation and attempts at retaliation are not permitted. Examples of such retaliation include being dismissed, having your job duties changed, being threatened, discriminated against, or blacklisted within your industry due to whistleblowing.
How is the report handled?
The report is handled confidentially. All irrelevant personal data will be deleted, and the case will only be saved for as long as necessary. Reported cases are initially handled by VICI law firm to ensure independent case management. After the initial handling, internal investigators at Arise may take over a report.
