Kalax wind farm is located approximately 5 km north of Näpes in Ostrobothnia. The farm consists of 21 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 90 MW. The grid connection is via underground cable to the grid station in the wind farm.

Arise is responsible for the technical, financial and commercial management of the wind farm.

VinnVind funds

The local villages around the wind farm will receive a wind bonus based on the annual production. The village associations will use this annual contribution to develop social and cultural activities locally.
