Södra Kärra wind farm is developed by Arise and is located approximately 16 km south of Askersund in Örebro County and 22 km south of Motala. The area consists mainly of forest. The wind farm consists of 6 wind turbines and is estimated to produce an average of 37.4 GWh per year, which corresponds to the annual household electricity consumption of approximately 7,500 houses. The grid connection is made through underground cable to the grid station.
