Södra Kärra wind farm is owned and has been developed by Arise and is located approximately 16 km south of Askersund in Örebro County and 22 km south of Motala. The wind farm consists of 6 wind turbines and is estimated to produce an average of 37.4 GWh per year, which corresponds to the annual household electricity consumption of approximately 7,500 houses. 

The grid connection is made through underground cable to the grid station and the area consists mainly of forest. 

Arise is responsible for the technical, financial and commercial management of the wind farm.
