A Full-Service Renewable Energy Partner

Arise was founded in Sweden in 2007 and has, since its listing in 2010, established itself as a reliable and commercially focused partner in renewable power generation. We operate across the entire project lifecycle – from early-stage development through to construction and into long-term asset management.

Our integrated business model combines in-house capabilities with external expertise where appropriate, enabling us to manage projects efficiently and maintain a strong focus on quality, risk management, and value creation. This approach allows us to deliver competitive, sustainable energy projects with attractive long-term returns.

Project Development

From Concept to Operational Asset

Arise takes a long-term strategic approach to project development, advancing from greenfield prospecting and acquisitions. With our experience and structured working methods, we ensure thoroughly developed projects – whether initiated from scratch or acquired at a later stage. Our development activities span onshore wind, solar power and energy storage across our core markets. Using a combination of experience and data analysis, we identify high potential sites – based on resource conditions, permitting requirements, grid access and commercial viability.

We carry out our development in close dialogue with land owners, local communities and public authorities. From the earliest stages, we consider biodiversity, environmental regulations and social impact, designing projects that promote local acceptance and long-term value. Throughout the development process, we actively address environmental issues, community engagement and knowledge-sharing – for example, through participation in research programmes and industry initiatives.

Arise is also developing hybrid parks that combine wind, solar and storage technologies to make more efficient use of grid capacity and provide more stable energy generation.

The Development Process - Step by Step

Once a project is identified and passes initial screening, it progresses through distinct development stages. During the first phase, Arise conducts in-depth assessments, feasibility studies, and initial planning to shape the project's framework. The planning phase involves obtaining necessary approvals and permits from regulatory authorities, addressing environmental considerations, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The execution phase marks the final step in the development process, where the project will move into the construction and operations stage.

Biodiversity - Integrated into Every Project

We incorporate environmental considerations from the earliest stages of project development. Through thorough environmental assessments, we identify sensitive areas and adjust site layout and timelines to avoid disruption, for example during bird nesting seasons. Our goal is to minimize impact – a commitment that reflects our ambition to maintain balance in nature and preserve biodiversity. We also explore ways to enhance biodiversity as part of our projects.

Community Engagement in Practice

We see early and ongoing dialogue with local communities as essential to successful project development. That’s why we engage in consultations early on in the process in order to gather input from residents, landowners and local stakeholders. We prioritize local co-operation, actively contribute to job creation, and promote local benefits through, for example, wind bonus, partnerships with local businesses and supply chains. Sustainable energy depends on local support – and we build that together.

Construction

Arise’s extensive experience in the development and operation of our own wind farms informs our approach to construction. By combining technical expertise with operational insights, we apply construction methods that are reliable, optimised and cost-effective. Construction project management is a core part of our offering, supported by structured procedures that coordinate and ensure all involved parties meet requirements related to environment, health and safety, quality, scheduling, and budget. This enables a smooth transition to the operational phase and contributed to the long-term value of each asset.

Asset Management

Arise brings together extensive experience as both owner and operator of wind farms with an efficient and adaptable management model. Our approach is based on delivering comprehensive services that meet both operational and ownership needs, including operations and maintenance to technical, financial, and administrative management, as well as safety services.

Using standardized processes, digital tools and innovative solutions, along with a dedicated 24/7 operations team, we ensure a reliable and transparent service for our clients. We have an owner’s perspective and understand the importance of maximizing the value of wind farms for both investors and society. This enables us to deliver high output whilst keeping operational costs low.

Our structured approach, focused on continuous improvement and automated reporting, supports the long-term performance and sustainability of each asset.
