In September 2015, the UN General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a development agenda highlighting 17 global goals for a better world.

Arise's most important contribution to the environment and society is to develop sustainable energy facilities and thereby support the goals of the 2030 Agenda. Long-term sustainability is at the core of Arise's operations, where the creation of renewable energy through the development of wind power, solar energy and other sources of renewable energy supports the transition to a more sustainable society.

Arise mainly contributes to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals Number 7 and 13 by strengthening access to clean, sustainable, and modern energy and promoting a future with low carbon dioxide emissions.

We also contribute to other goals, such as SDGs 3, 8, 9, 12, 15 and 16.
